DYJCommentsInContent is a Plugin that will allow you to insert a JComments page into a joomla article, as it is a plugin it can be inserted inside tabs or slides rather than at the bottom.  An Editor Button is also available as a separate download in the downloads area.

Any help fixing/improving is always welcome.

To use this Extensions, you upload it using the normal Joomla Installer and then go to the plugin to enable it and set the details you want.

The syntax to use is:
{##dyjcomments}x,y,z{##/dyjcomments} (I have added the ## parts here so it is not changed, they are not required).

- x is the object_id, it can be the word "this" to use the article ID for the page it is on or you can insert the article ID for the comment page you want to display.

- y is the object_group which allows for use with other components, by default is is com_content if you enter nothing or leave the default text inserted by the DYJComments Editor Button.

z - is the object_title, not sure if this is used in the current version of JComments but again it will default to nothing if you enter nothing or leave the default text from the DYJComments Editor Button.

 The ability to enter just the word "this" to use the JComments for that article.
